An annexe is a self-contained living space in your garden — a place for family, guests, or work that lives separately from the main house while staying close to home. Ours arrive as complete, finished buildings.
What makes a good annexe?
Insulation that makes it usable year-round, real plumbing and a proper kitchen, natural light, and a finish that feels like a home rather than a shed. Every Crown Pavilions annexe is built to that standard.
Why no planning permission is needed
Built and sited to qualify as a mobile home (caravan) under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 and the Caravan Sites Act 1968, the annexe falls within the legal definition by dimension and construction — so it can typically be installed without planning permission.
