Our Garden Room Models

Our garden man caves come in a range of stunning designs, including our classic Sandringham model, our contemporary Clarence which features a striking feature wall, and our Buckingham hybrid model, which combines an insulated room with a covered gazebo area. We also offer the option to design and build your own bespoke back garden man cave.

Why have a man cave in your back garden?

A garden man cave provides a comfortable space to escape and take some time out for yourself away from the stresses of everyday life. Invite your friends round for a game of pool or table football, play on the PS5, settle down to watch the big match or chill with a few beers from your mini-bar.

An outdoor man cave also offers a convenient solution for storing gym equipment or creating your own personal workout room, helping declutter your house of your sports gear and create a private area to let off some steam. If you’ve been looking for somewhere to display your sports certificates or trophies, your garden room could also be the ideal location.

Why a Man Cave?

Benefits of a garden man cave

Freedom

A garden man cave is built separate from your home, providing you with a secluded space to escape from the distractions of home life.

Socialise

Create a fun place to hang out with your friends and enjoy all your favourite games, movies, sports or perhaps even a tipple or two.

Relax

Design a serene space in your back garden to kick back and relax, and enjoy some much-needed alone time after a hard day at work.

Get creative

Pursue your hobbies to the fullest and fill your man cave building with books, video games, instruments, craft materials or whatever you love to do most.

Invite your friends and family round for an evening of cocktail-making or a cold-one while you watch the football. Depending on your chosen garden room model, you can build a full-size luxury bar, stocked with a selection of spirits and glassware, or a convenient bar trolley or mini-fridge if you are working with a smaller space.

Your sporting passion may not be totally welcome in your home. Your man cave, however, gives you the option to show just how deeply you care for your favourite team or sports personality - with a dedicated area where you can enjoy them winning on the big screen and celebrate afterwards. You can even display framed photos or posters of your sports idols without disturbing your home decor.

Lounging or playing video games

If you just want to enjoy a few drinks, watch television and occasionally entertain, we recommend keeping it simple and laid back. Include a few personal touches in your decoration and some comfortable furnishings. Or if you want to make a statement, why not install your favourite retro arcade machine or virtual wall with a golf simulator to impress your friends and neighbours?

Planning your dream outdoor man cave

Planning your dream outdoor man cave

There are a few things you need to consider before building your new man cave. First and foremost, you need to think about your garden room foundations to ensure your space is structurally-sound. Before beginning your project, you will also need to plan plumbing and electrics, especially if you are looking to install bathroom or spa facilities.

Next, it’s time for the fun part: choosing your main theme for your personal man cave. Do you want a full-size snooker table to be the focal point of your room or a traditional mahogany bar, for instance? And, now for the finishing touches. You will need to think about ceiling lights and lamps, technology and heating. Why not install voice-activated lighting solutions, high-quality sound systems and underfloor heating for some added luxury?

Building a garden man cave requires lots of planning but the Crown team is here to support you from ideation to completion.
