Glazed gazebos, which add full glazing for year-round use, start at RRP £28,900 (St. Tropez Glazed, 4.5m x 3m), then £30,750 (Eden Glazed, 4.5m x 3m) and £38,600 (Orangery Glazed, 5m x 4m). Wooden shelters, which are rectangular and suit hot tubs and outdoor kitchens, start at RRP £11,250.

The three price bands

  • Small, £13,300 to £19,100: Rose, Chelsea, Tudor and Elizabeth. A table for two to eight in a compact garden.
  • Medium, £19,700 to £25,900: Guinevere, Wolsey, Edward, Wentworth and Ascot. Room for seven to ten around a dining table.
  • Large, £30,700 and above: Eden, Windsor, Orangery, Hampton and Versailles. Ten or more guests, with space for lounge seating as well as dining.

What decides the price of a wooden gazebo

  1. Size. Footprint and the number of seats are the biggest factor. Each step up the range adds timber, roof area and fittings.
  2. The frame. Ours is an FSC-certified redwood frame. Timber quality, post thickness and joinery change the cost of any gazebo, which is why very cheap gazebos are usually much lighter builds.
  3. The roof. Crown gazebos have a cedar roof over a pitched structure, with underside cladding. The roof is a large part of what separates a permanent gazebo from a seasonal one.
  4. Sides and weather protection. Blinds, balustrades and clad or part-glazed panels can be arranged to suit you. Full glazing is the step up to a glazed gazebo.
  5. Fittings. Seating, cushions and tables.
  6. Base and installation. A gazebo needs a level, stable base. Composite decking on a ground screw system is available as an option, as is redwood decking. See foundations and ground screws.

What is included in a Crown price

Every Crown gazebo is supplied as one Premium Package, with delivery and professional installation included. The package covers the redwood-framed building, cedar roof, underside roof cladding, entrance, infill panels, blinds, seating, cushions and tables. The exact list differs by model, so check the model page, for example Crown Eden.

How to compare quotes

Cheaper gazebos are not always the same thing at a lower price. When you compare, ask each supplier:

  • What is the frame made from, and is the timber certified?
  • What is the roof made of, and is it fully clad underneath?
  • Are delivery, installation and the base included, or priced separately?
  • How long is the guarantee, and what does it cover?
  • Can I see the actual building before I pay?

Our gazebo comparison page sets out how Crown compares on these points.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. Finance is available over a long term with a deposit. The details, including the representative example, are on our finance options page. Credit is subject to status.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a luxury wooden gazebo cost?

Crown luxury wooden gazebos range from RRP £13,300 for the Rose to RRP £83,900 for the Versailles. Most buyers look at the medium and large models between £19,700 and £41,400.

Is delivery and installation included in the price?

Yes. Every Crown gazebo is supplied as one Premium Package with delivery and professional installation included.

Why do some gazebos cost a fraction of this?

Lower-priced gazebos are typically lighter seasonal structures. A permanent gazebo with a redwood frame, cedar roof and a 10-year guarantee uses more material and craftsmanship, which is reflected in the price.

Do I need to pay for a base or foundations separately?

A gazebo needs a level, stable base. Composite decking on a ground screw system is available as an option, and redwood decking is also available. Ask our team which suits your garden.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes, finance is available over a long term with a deposit. See our finance options page for the representative example. Credit is subject to status.

Can I see a gazebo before I buy?

Yes. We have six show sites where you can walk around the buildings.
